As this product is obsolete, we no longer offer replacement parts and failed parts are no longer serviceable.
The answers are provided as possible solutions but by no means a guarantee that it will resolve the issue.
Signs are completely blank.
Solution 1: The simplest solution is to first make sure the signs are getting power. In most cases, the breaker has simply tripped. Since we only provide the workings of the product, we cannot be sure how the installation company arranged the power connections to the sign. We recommend the original sign installation company be contacted for additional direction on where the breaker may be located.
Solution 2: Each sign consists of 2 power supplies. A sign company or technician should access the sign and make sure the power supplies are working. If one or both are no longer working, they will require replacement. The power supplies are industry standard items and a simple internet search of the power supply model number should bring up vendors where they are available for purchase.
Only one side works.
Solution 1: Each sign consists of 2 power supplies. A sign company or technician should access the side not working to make sure the power supplies are working. If one or both are no longer working, they will require replacement. The power supply is an industry standard item and a simple internet search of the power supply model number should bring up vendors where they are available for purchase.
Solution 2: The installation consists of 2 signs. One side is the PARENT and the other the CHILD. The side that is working will be the PARENT since it is outputting the main data. Linking the PARENT to the CHILD are two cables. A sign company or technician should disconnect the cables, check the ends for rusting, clean as needed, and reconnect to see if that resolves the issue. Refer to page 4 in the Installation Guide.
Some lights or colors are not working.
Solution 1: Each sign consists of 2 power supplies. A sign company or technician should access the side not working to make sure the power supplies are working. If one is no longer working, it will require replacement. The power supply is an industry standard item and a simple internet search of the power supply model number should bring up vendors where they are available for purchase.
Solution 2: The sign consists of 10 panels that make up one side. The likely cause is a single panel failure. A sign company or technician should access the sign and clean the connections to the panels to see if that will correct the issue.
Temperature is incorrect.
The temperature sensor has failed. This is a proprietary part and no longer available for purchase.
Does not respond to remote control.
Solution 1: Replace the batteries on the remote with new fresh ones
Solution 2: Test the remote. Using your smartphones camera (Android Only), you will be able to see the infrared LED on the remote. If it light’s up through the camera lens, it is working normal. Here is the procedure.
- Put your smartphone in camera mode.
- Point the camera to the “LED” on the head of the remote.
- While pointing the camera to “LED” on the remote, press any button on the remote. Keep in mind you are NOT taking a picture. You are simply viewing the “LED” through the camera lens.
- If your see the infrared light when you press a button on the remote, then the remote works. Jump to the next solution.
- If you don't see the infrared light when pressing a button on the remote, then the remote may need to be replaced. A replacement remote can be purchased on our Web Store.
Solution 3: If the remote is operational, then the receiving sensor or CPU on the sign has failed. These are both proprietary parts and no longer available for purchase.
