TC - Which model do I have?

There are 3 TruColor sign models.
  1. TruColor V5 (PL-M2014R)
  2. TruColor V6 (PL-M2014RV6)
  3. TruColor V8 (PL-XPM2014)
V8 (XPM Series) Notes
• Available in other model sizes, i.e. PL-XPM2020, PL-XPM3010, PL-XPM4014, etc.
• The Remote, User's Guide, and Software are the same for this series.
• The Power Adapter will differ for each model size.

How to determine the model.
  1. Label on back of sign will state the model number.
    • For the TruColor V5, look for a model number of PL-M2014R.
    • For the TruColor V6, simply look for "V6"
    • For the TruColor V8, simply look for "XP".
  2. The handheld remote button layout.
      Version 5        Version 6 and 8/XP

  3. Sign demo and startup message.
    • The TruColor V5 will show "Pro-Lite" at the beginning of the demo message.
    • The TruColor V6 will show "Version: 6.53" at startup.
    • The TruColor V8 will show "Tru-ColorXP" at startup.
