How do I disable the Trivia?
  1. Make sure your sign is running a message.
  2. Press the FUNCTION button and the sign will show TRIVIA OFF.
  3. Repeat to enable the TRIVIA.
Why does the Trivia return when I power cycle the sign?
By default, TRIVIA is enabled when sign is powered ON. To permanently remove the TRIVIA, refer to the following step.

Permanently Remove or Restore Trivia
Trivia can only be removed and restored using the software. Restoring Trivia can take up to 5 minutes.
  1. Download and install the TruColor software. The User's Guide is also available for download
  2. Connect the included communication cable to the computer and opposite end to the sign communication input.
  3. Start the TruColor software.
  4. To permanently remove Trivia, click Function followed by Remove Trivia.
    To restore Trivia, click Function followed by Send Trivia. You will be prompted to locate the Trivia file which is located under the following directory, C:\TruColorXP\Trivia. The file name is Gentrv01.txt.
Is additional Trivia available for purchase?
Trivia bundles can be purchased from the Pro-Lite Web Store. The TruColor software will be required to upload the Trivia.
Only a single Trivia file can be uploaded to the sign at a time.

Can I create my own Trivia?
Yes!
  1. Start Windows Notepad.
  2. Create your questions and answers following this format:
    <ID00><Q+>
    <ID00>
    ...question...
    <ID00>
    ...answer...
    <ID00>
    ...question...
    <ID00>
    ...answer...
    <ID00>
    ...question...
    <ID00>
    ...answer...
    <ID00><Q->

    Lines limit = 90 lines. The example format above shows 8 lines.
  3. Save and name your Trivia file.
  4. Refer to the above section to Remove or Restore Trivia.
