Solutions
As this product is obsolete, we no longer offer replacement parts and failed parts are no longer serviceable.
The answers are provided as possible solutions but by no means a guarantee that it will resolve the issue.
Signs not updating using software.
Solution 1: If the software was installed onto a new computer, the issue is likely that the transmitter driver was not installed. Refer to the Sign Installation Guide for driver installation.
Solution 2: If the same computer is being used, there are four likely causes: - The USB transmitter is not connected to the original USB port used when it was working. Refer to the Installation Confirmation sections on pages 9-11 in the Sign Installation Guide. You will also need to refer to the Software User's Guide.
- If the transmitter is configured correctly, make sure the transmitter has a direct line-of-site to the sign. In other words, the antenna must be upright and you should be able to see the sign from where the transmitter is placed. The signal can easily be obstructed if the line-of-site is obstructed by office walls, trees or other buildings.
- Either the transmitter or the receiver on the sign itself has failed. Both items are proprietary parts and no longer available for purchase.
- The CPU has failed. This is a proprietary part and no longer available for purchase.
Software and/or transmitter driver will not run on my new computer.
These software's are legacy products and may not support newer operating systems past Windows 10.
How can I display the temperature.
The software does not support temperature display. It is only supported using the handheld remote.
